2009 “Single Vineyard” Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaking Notes

The grapes used to produce our 2009 Shannon Ridge Home Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon were picked at the peak of ripeness. We did a long maceration to soften tannins and improve flavors and mouth feel. We used gentle processing to keep tannin levels down. The wine was aged in French oak for twenty months.

Flavor: Blackberry, Cherry, Laced with Vanilla oak
Texture: Bold, Rich, well balanced, long elegant finish
