Winemaking Notes

The grapes used to produce our 2009 Shannon Ridge Lake County Wrangler Red came from the hills and slopes of ultra-premium vineyards of Lake County, California. To give it complexity, this wine was aged with French and American oak. It is a blend of red varietals married together to create a wine that best represents its vintage.

Tasting Notes

Color: Dark, Deep Garnet, Purple
Aroma: Maraschino cherry, boysenberry, rich vanilla oak
Flavor: Boysenberry, cinnamon spice, vanilla
Texture: Big, bold, soft tannins, nicely balanced with a lingering finish
