2010 High Elevation Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaking Notes

The grapes used to produce our 2010 Shannon Ridge Lake County High Elevation Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested from several different blocks from our family’s vineyards in High Valley and Red hills appellations in Lake County, California. Deep color and flavors were achieved with gentle handling, controlled fermentation and some extended maceration. Aged in French and American oak to help create a balanced soft mouthfeel.

• Color: Deep garnet, ruby
• Aroma: Black cherry, dark berry, vanilla, spice
• Flavor: Bing cherry, dark raspberry, creamy vanilla
• Texture: Rich, well balanced with a long finish
