The grapes for this wine were grown in high elevation, mountain vineyards at up to 2,400 feet. The picturesque vineyards overlook Clear Lake, one of the oldest lakes in North America and California’s largest freshwater lake.

Tasting Notes

The Shannon Ridge 2011 High Elevation Petite Sirah is a deep purple color. It has aromas of creamy vanilla oak, blueberry, and blackberry. The flavors include blueberry pie, fresh blackberries, and dark chocolate. It’s a rich, well balances wine with a bold lingering finish.
