2013 High Elevation Cabernet Sauvignon

The grapes used to produce our Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested from our Family's vineyards
in Lake County, California. The High Elevation vineyard sites allow us to pick at optimum ripeness.
Fermentation last for about 10 days, then we age on a combination of French and American oak
for 12 months.

Tasting Notes

The Shannon Ridge 2013 High Elevation Cabernet Sauvignon dark ruby in color. It has aromas of
ripe fruit; Bing cherry, blackberry and black currant. Mocha coffee, anise, vanilla and pie spices
also fill the glass. Flavors burst out with bright cherry, dark chocolate and fresh blackberry.
Nicely spiced and hearty notes of black pepper and cedar. Firm, ripe tannins will allow this wine
to age for 5-8 years.
